The John Bergmann Legacy Society
For more than 40 years, John Bergmann has dedicated his life to the care and rescue of animals in need. Starting his journey with the Associated Humane Societies (AHS) at just 18 years old, John’s passion led him to build Popcorn Park Animal Refuge—a place of safety and healing for wildlife, farm animals, and exotics. Popcorn Park’s very first resident, Rigby the raccoon, was rescued from a leg-hold trap. Since then, John has grown the refuge into a vital, lifesaving organization that continues to offer sanctuary to animals from all walks of life.
The John Bergmann Legacy Society was created to honor individuals who wish to continue John's mission by leaving a gift to Popcorn Park in their will. Your legacy will ensure that Popcorn Park continues to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide a forever home to animals for generations to come.
By joining the John Bergmann Legacy Society, you become a part of John’s enduring vision: giving animals in need a second chance at life. Your commitment today will make a lasting difference for years to come.
Together, we can ensure that Popcorn Park remains a haven of hope and compassion.
